Title in 2A1 for 2025 Up For Grabs

While Panhandle and Refugio appear headed for a title clash on December 17, a lot can happen to prevent that; and other teams are clearly showing that they intend to alter that pairing.

Of the 106 teams in the division, 29 are undefeated (27.4%).

Clearly, Panhandle will be challenged in district play by Stinnett West Texas and Sanford-Fritch, both are also undefeated.

Things should again go smoothly for the Refugio Bobcats in District 16; but surprisingly, Premont (2-0) may be their toughest foe before the playoffs.

District 13, which includes the Ganado Indians, the defending champions, just may be the most competitive of the 16 districts. The seven teams have played 14 games, with the only loss being by Schulenburg, to Rogers, 29-36

Hamlin has only surrendered 6 points in its two wins, 63-6.

In their two victories, the Ozona Lions have scored 136 points, giving up but 29, all to Eldorado in their second game.
