Within four years, the political climate in Texas as well as in the whole orf the USA, that climate will be radically different from what it is today.
The #1 difference will of course be that the USA will have a new president Donald Trump will be 84, and history if he's deceased; his health is already a challenge.
Also, it seems likely: the Democrats will return to being a Congressional majority, meaning mainly that we will see Congress pass more legislation favorable to the Democrats.
Most importantly, however, will be the fact that the USA's position in the world will have changed; meaning it will be less significant (powerful) than it is in 2026. China will likely be the #1 nation in size, wealth and international influence ability. (Russia will continue its fall, apparently).
Alas, I may not be around to enjoy all the new scenery. I'm 91 and not getting any younger by the day (although I'm in reasonably good shape for my age--in mind and body.)
Obviously, in 2030 the entire world will be radically different, which will not in itself be all that significant (life goes on). So, the question really is: how will we individually have changed, or not changed? If I'm still around, I doubt seriously that my main political views will have changed very much. Very likely, I'll still be advocating for equality and justice for all, as I believe this is the "HEART" of the USA constitution.
But will I, will we individually, be happy or just plain mad? I strongly suspect that I 'll b madder than hell, especially if the Republican extremists continue to have as much influence as they have today.
Too, I'll be mad because certain of my major beliefs may no longer be of any primary interest.
We and our like will surely be facing stiffer challenges: we humans seem to have a major problem with other people, like people from other nations and those of a different color; we will be mad that there's been so little progress in this area, if there's anything like what we mean by "progress."
So. please, p[ease if you're still alive in 2030== be happy, be glad, appreciate your very self and, absolutely, love your significant other, your family and hold your friends dearly. That's the best life I can imagine for any year.
